While most of the words are mine (and I note when I tap in some of our other resident experts), the rankings themselves are aggregated by our entire staff. If this is your first time reading our rankings, welcome if not, welcome back! As a refresher, we do this somewhat unconventionally. Now, as teams solidify their rosters, cutting down to their final dozen (or fewer) before games tip off on May 19, it’s time to project performance, based solely on roster construction. We made it through another long WNBA winter, buoyed by a frenetic free agency and enthralling NCAA tournament that fed into an enticing draft class.
